The Property

All guest rooms at BRF are under one roof and accessed via a long, indoor hallway or from an individual patio door.  There are a few steps from the parking lot to the house and from the house to the separate outdoor seating area.

The kitchen at BRF is not available for our guests to cook in. On the weekends, we serve dinner, and breakfast is self-serve. There are a few local options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the area. With advance notice, a picnic lunch can be prepared for you for an additional fee.

Located on the oak savannah, BRF is a working farm, and as such, there are hazards such as large equipment, animals, and uneven landscapes and water. We do have mud, grass, real dirt, insects, and beavers. But we also have beautiful night skies, clean air, and tons of nature.

Dogs

We have three dogs at the farm that generally like people. If you plan on traveling with yours please contact us beforehand.  Decisions are made on a case by case basis.  Any dogs allowed will incur an additional cleaning fee.

Events On Site

Occasionally, BRF will host workshops, classes, and farm dinners. Please be advised that these activities may coincide with your visit. If you would like to participate in farm chores or have a farm tour, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to accommodate these types of requests whenever possible.
